Obituary
Donna F. Blackshire, 88 of Sioux City, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at her residence.
Memorial Services will be held 7 pm Friday, January 5, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation also Friday 4-8 pm with the family present 6-8 pm.
Donna was born on December 25, 1929 in Mitchell, South Dakota, the daughter of Clifford and Beulah (Booth) Nation. On April 1, 1967 Donna was united in marriage to Frank Blackshire. She worked for Interbake Foods, retiring during the early 1990’s.
She enjoyed traveling and visiting relatives in Colorado. Donna enjoyed crocheting and would crochet slippers for retired Interbake workers. She was a member of the Elk Point Baptist Church.
Donna is survived by her son LeRoy (Wendy) Kilburn of Sioux City, two daughters, Teresa (Charlie) Dickmann of George, Iowa and Nellie (Ralph) Johnson of Sioux City, and numerous grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Tommy and Clifford and one daughter, Cindy.
