Donald A. Tipton, 88 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Services of Sioux City.

Donald was born May 28, 1932 in Bronson, Iowa the son of Charles and Rosie (Pry) Tipton. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952- 1953. Donald married Anita Ping in 1955 in Sioux City, and in 1956 they moved to Los Angeles were they raised their three children. They returned to Sioux City in 1972, where Donald worked in the Electronic Business for many years. He retired from (AEA) Area Education Association in 2005.

He loved to tinker with electronics, listen to audio stories and play games on the computer.

Donald is survived by his wife, Anita, three children, Steven Tipton (Karen), David Tipton, (Cindy), Susan Mahan (Wes), sister, Millie Abraham, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
