Donald G. Susie, 78, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at his home. There will be no services. Waterbury Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Don was born August 13, 1942 in Cushing, Iowa the son of Francis and Elsie (Hansen) Susie. He grew up in Sioux City, graduating from Central High School in 1961. Don married Marilyn Anderson September 22, 1962 at South Sioux. Together they made their home in Sioux City.

Don worked at Sunshine Foods for over 35 years.

He enjoyed photography. Particularly pictures of bald eagles. Don was very patriotic and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Susie of Sioux City; daughter, Kimberly Susie of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Troy Susie of Lincoln, NE; twin grandchildren, Hannah and Hadley Susie of Lincoln, NE; sister, Margaret Ellen Beedle of Phoenix, AZ., and twin brothers, Larry (Sharon) Susie and Garry (Pam) Susie both of Sioux City; and his cat, Bella.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sam Susie.
