Donald "Donnie" Ray Wold, 62, of Sioux City, IA, passed away July 15, 2025, at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Trimble Global Methodist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Donnie was born on November 26, 1962, in Sioux City, IA to Donald M. Wold and Wilma Thorngren-Brewer.  He worked at John Morrell, Smithfield, and bartended at Frosty's and The Doghouse.  Donnie met the love of his life, Florence Rockwood and they were together off and on for 44 years.  He was a jack of all trades and was knowledgeable about many things.  He could fix lawn mowers, cars, and machinery.  He was a junker by trade and would often fix up and sell the things he worked on.  Family was very important to Donnie, and he enjoyed having a good BBQ and entertaining.

He had many friends and loved by lots. He knew just enough about everything, if you called him for furnace trouble to car trouble, he would be there to help. He had a special place in his heart for his dog "Chuey", if he could've taken him during his hospital stays, I'm sure it would have eased some of his days.

A man of few words but spoke volumes in his actions, always willing to give a hand. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his partner, Florence Rockwood; children: Natasha (Luke) Rockwood, Donald "DJ" Jr. Joshua Rockwood, and Dillion Rockwood.; several grandchildren; siblings: Michael Rausch, Annette (Tom) Mast, Tamara (Randal) Gray, Suzanne (Robert) Ewers, Rebecca (Alfredo) Brewer, Jennifer (Eduardo) Martinez; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews; and uncle, Alan "Corkey" Thorngren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Carol Lee; brothers: Thomas and Virgil Rausch, Donald Martin Jr. and Anthony "Tony" Wold; niece, Amy Barbee; and nephew, Matthew Rausch; and cousin, Marvin Mumbles.
