Donald Eugene Linduski was born March 25, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Otto and Ethel Linduski, passed away August 21, 2016 in his home surrounded by family.
Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Russell Senstad officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.
Don grew up in Morningside, attended East High School and severed in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a signalman. He met and married the love of his life of 69 years Rose “Rosebud” Strong. He served as a real estate agent in Sioux City and then was Woodbury County Auditor where he served 32 years.
Don enjoyed building model airplanes, train villages, doll houses, including a replica of the Woodbury County Court House. He loved building and remodeling projects. His favorite past time was taking annual fishing trips with his family to Minnesota.
He is survived by his wife Rose, seven children; Terry, Randy (Tracy), Rick, Robin (Randy), Wendy, Daniel (Laura), Lisa (Todd); 27 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and his sister Joyce (Robert) Whinery.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Blanche Reinking.
