Donald E. Berndt, 69 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at a local hospital, with his sisters by his side. Services will be held 6pm Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donald was born April 17, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Carl and Marie (Ferdig) Berndt. Donald loved fishing, camping, being outdoors, drinking a Keystone Light every now and then, gardening with his parents, and loved his dogs.

He took care of his family and would help any one out. Donald liked to cook and put together his model cars.

Donald is survived by his two sisters, Sharon Cooper, and Linda (Richard) Radley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bob, Carl, Jr., and sister, JoAnn Franke.
