Donald Albright 81, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, surrounded by family.
Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Faith United Presbyterian Church in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Don was born on March 21, 1937, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He served in the Air Force National Guard as a young man. He went on to retire from Hormel after more than 20 years but continued working as an owner-operator truck driver and apartment manager.
He was a proud Irishman, who loved garage sales, old Western movies, baseball, and trips to the casino. He was a home run hitter in his younger days and always considered himself an athlete.
Don is survived by his children, Holly Morrow and Mike Klink, Cally Cerwick, Amy Albright, and Mitch Albright; 14 grandkids; 21 great-grandkids; one great-great-grandson; and his sister, Connie Parsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Leonard Albright; three brothers; and his beloved son, Matthew Albright.
