Obituary
Diane Theresa McFarland , age 51, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday December 23, 2012 at an Akron, Iowa care facility.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Saturday December 29, 2012 at Church of All Nations in Sioux City. Interment will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Waterbury Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Diane was born in Akron, Iowa on September 18, 1961, the daughter of Don and Marjorie (Hoffman) Solomon. She later moved to Riverside California, returning to Sioux City on the early 1970’s.
She worked as a home health aide. She enjoyed Scrapbooking, shopping, all crafts and spending time with all of her family, especially the time she could spend with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her father Don Solomon of Arkansas, her son James Solomon and his wife Missy of Sioux City and her daughter Stacy McFarland and her companion Pat of Sioux City. She is also survived by two brothers: Rod Solomon and Ron Solomon both of Westfield, Iowa , her eight grandchildren and her special friend Lyndon Hamann of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
