Dennis “Denny” Lee Grant, 78, of Sioux City, IA, passed away August 2, 2026. A private graveside service with military honors will be held at McCook Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Dennis was born on February 7, 1948 in Sioux City, IA to Gerald and Helen (Jones) Grant. He graduated from Riverside High School and was drafted into the United States Army. He served in Vietnam before being honorably discharged. Dennis was with Karen Cole for over 40 years until her passing several years ago. Dennis worked at a variety of jobs from laborer to construction. He loved to go fishing.

Those left to honor his memory include his sons: Aaron and Eric Grant; brother, Leo (Deanna) Grant; sister, Peggy (Larry) Peterson; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Mary Peers, Goldie Lundgren, George and Jerry Grant.
