Dennis “Showcase” Dale Wiese, 70, of Sioux City, IA, passed away March 16, 2025, at a local hospital.  A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 3-6:00 p.m. at the Old Brass Rail, 601 Pearl St, Sioux City, IA.  There will be a free will donation dinner to help pay for funeral expenses.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Dennis was born on June 4, 1954, in Emerson, NE to Melvin and Bonnie (Connor) Wiese.  He was united in marriage to Jeannie Hanson in 1972; they later remarried again in 1994.  Dennis worked at IBP for over 20 years.  He enjoyed gambling, going to the casinos, and fishing.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters: Robyn (Bo) Hannel and Devon (Juan) Santos; brother, Garry (special friend Terry) Wiese; and grandchildren: Nathanial, Jossiea, and Sebastian.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and a sister, Kelly.
