Dennis Cloud, 69, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at Mercy One Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at Waterbury Funeral Home, 4125 Orleans Avenue, Sioux City on Monday March 18th. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Dennis was born on November 29th, 1954, in Sioux City, the first child to Leonard and Lela Cloud. Dennis lived his entire life in Sioux City. He worked as a mechanic at Graham Tire for 14 years and in maintenance at Tyson for 18 years, with various mechanic positions prior. Dennis truly enjoyed the wild side of the outdoors. He spent his free time at the river, target shooting, camping, boating and working on anything mechanical.

Dennis was united into marriage to Debra Reynolds on June 24, 1978, and they were blessed with two sons, Chad and Travis.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Debra Cloud; children Chad (Andrea) and Travis (Jen); grandchildren, Alexis Cloud, Faith Cloud, Kennedy Cloud along with Jurnie Charles, Jessalyn and Cain; sister Leola (Brian) Miller and brother Stuart (Suzanne) Cloud. Dennis also had many nieces, nephews, extended family and his beloved dog Mr. Copper.

Dennis will be missed deeply but he is now free to roam the wild spaces that he was so much drawn to and loved.
