Dennis L. Ball, 63, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at a local hospital. Services will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, September 11, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 pm with family present from 4-6 on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the funeral home.

Dennis was born on April 4, 1954 in Grand Island, NE. He moved to Sioux City in 1975 and married Patrice Peterson on Nov. 18, 1978. Patrice passed away in 1995.

Dennis was a truck driver for many years and really enjoyed his job. He worked for Anton Kristijanto Trucking and other various places in the Siouxland area throughout the years, retiring in 2006. Dennis was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed doing martial arts, and loved riding his Harley and drinking his Old Milwaukee.

Survivors include his son, Derek Smith of LeMars; brothers, Doug (Chris) Ball and Tim Ball; sisters, Kay Roybal and Patty (Randy) Stanton; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patrice Ball; brothers, Ted and James Ball; and sister, Gay Orr.
