Delores Ann Straka, age 70, of South Sioux City, South Dakota died on Sunday November 13, 2011 at
a local hospital.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday November 17, 2011 at Calvary cemetery in Sioux City with Rev. Roger Madden officiating, Visitation will be held Wednesday from4-8pm with the family present from6-8 at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Delores was born on October 28, 1941 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Ignasious and Leona (Andersen) Suarez, She attended Sioux City schools.
She was united in marriage with Fred Straka onJune 15, 1975 in Sioux City. Delores worked at several different motels as a housekeeper for many years. She enjoyed Fishing, doing puzzles, her pets and R&B music.
She is survived by her husband Fred, her son Randy Rouillard (Susan) of Sioux City, her brother Ronald Searez of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a sister Inez Rupe of Washington State. She is also survived by her grandchildren Randy Rouillard Jr., Lolita Rockwood, Andrea Rockwood, Maria Rockwood, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
