Delores "Dee" V. Brownlee, 58, of Sioux City, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 following a long, hard battle with cancer. Per her wishes, Dee will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 to 3:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Doxx Warehouse. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dee's family.

Dee was born on December 30, 1959 to Richard and Udith (Townsend) Dickerson.  Dee was a beautiful, loving, and caring woman and had three beautiful children. Dee married the love of her life, Jim Brownlee, on August 10, 2001. She loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. Most importantly, Dee loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and her little dog, Precious.

Dee has spent many years in sobriety, thanks to Bill W., Cory D., Gary W., and all of her friends in recovery. The family would like to give a special thank you the June E. Nylen Cancer Center, and to all of the doctors and staff at Hospice of Siouxland. They took great care of Dee and helped to make her comfortable at home in her final days. Dee passed loving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Brownlee of Sioux City; children, Jack (Tamera) Williams of LeMars, Melissa (fiance, Brea Smith) Thomas of Sioux City, and Kathy (boyfriend, Colt) Everton of Sioux City; grandchildren, Cassandra, Gabby, Alex, Alexis, Amber, Austin, Jack, and Ivy; brothers, Kruse (fiance Becka) Dickerson of Kentucky, Dicky Dickerson of Kentucky, and Kevin Dickerson of Sioux City; sister, Deb Mead of Sioux City; many nieces and nephews; mama-in-law, Jeanie Derby; sissy-in-law, Linda Johnson; and brother and sister-in-law, Cory and Bridget Derby.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kurt, Gary, and Billy; and sister, Roxanne.
