Debra J. Guinn, 65, of Jackson, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, December 23rd at home after a long illness. A celebration of life/open house in her honor will be held on Sunday, January 21st at 11 a.m. at the residence of her son, located at 224 St. James Street in Jackson, Nebraska.

Debra (Debbie) was born September 25th, 1958, in Sioux City, Iowa to Cecil and Margaret (Lodge) Kemp. She attended and graduated from Sioux City schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cribbage and Yahtzee. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved her pets, and any animal that was lucky enough to have her was spoiled rotten.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Malinda Benoit of Sioux City; her son, Joe Jr. (Davida) Benoit of Jackson, Nebraska; brother, Gary (Cindy) Kemp, sister, Lesa (Elwin) McKernan; grandchildren, Michael Benoit, Lexie Benoit, Cambria Keegan, Angel Keegan, and Aunna Keegan; great grandchildren, Jerzie Benoit, August Benoit, and baby Daxton; and her best friend Deb Myres.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, a brother, Jerry Kemp and sister, Bonnie (Kemp) March, as well as a husband, Bobby Guinn and special friend, Richard (Rick) Freymond.

The family would also like to thank Shannon (Chas) Compton and Amber Heath who have been a blessing and comfort to Debra and her family during her final weeks.
