Deborah A. "Deb" Green 71, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Holy Spirit Retirement Home. Per her wishes, Deb will be cremated and Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Radiant Life Community Church, 423 George Street. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.

Deb was born on March 29, 1944 in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Gertrude (Destival) Stone. She graduated from Independence High School. Deb married Robert James Green, Sr. and to this union four sons were born. Deb and Bob later divorced and he passed away in October of 2012.

Deb moved to Sioux City in 2006 where she managed Evergreen Terrace Apartments and later Indian Hills Apartments. Throughout her life, she had been a manager at various hotels and sold portraits for United Church Directory.

Deb enjoyed watching the Food Network, cooking, collecting a range of items, and visiting with friends and family. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Akron, IA and of Radiant Life Community Church of Sioux City. Deb was a very generous woman.

Survivors include her sons: Robert (Kristi) Green, Jr. of Humboldt, IA, Evan (Heather) Green of Dakota Dunes, Damon (Carla) Green of Sioux City, and Joel (Ashley) Green of Humboldt, IA, 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents.
