David W. Tedford, 63 of Sioux City passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at a local hospital, surrounded by his family. Private family services will be held at a later date.

David Wesley Tedford was born on March 21, 1961, in Inglewood, California the son of Earl and Loretta (Lumley) Tedford. He attended Jefferson High School and in 1979 he entered the military where he served as a field mechanic until his honorable discharge in 1985.

During 1979 David was united in marriage to Sharon Hagestrom. For many years David worked as a security guard for Wells Fargo and later as a driving valet for the Argosy Casino until retiring due to his health.

David enjoyed working on cars, watching NASCAR on Sundays and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife Sharon, son Michael (Nicole) Tedford, daughter Jennifer (Jon) Brewer, sister, Griselda Trevino, and five grandchildren Kallisti, Logan, Skyler, Ian and Kairi.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clayton Tedford.
