David S. “Dave” Rosemeyer, 59 of Sioux City, died July 27, 2018.

Services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery.

David Scott Rosemeyer was born on January 10, 1959 in Sioux City, the son of Leroy and Lorraine (Wilson) Rosemeyer.

Dave was married to Debra (Caskey), they were later divorced but remained friends through the years. Dave worked many years for CableOne, leaving because of an injury.

One of Dave’s favorite memories was when he walked his niece Lindsey down the aisle when she married Jesse. Dave enjoyed using his metal detector looking for lost treasurers. He also enjoyed fishing and during the early spring, morel mushrooms hunting.

Dave is survived by his brothers, Bill and his wife Carol of Sioux City and Doug and his wife Sandy of Omaha, his sister Glenda Casey of Brookings, South Dakota, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Rodney Rosemeyer and a sister, Clyda Rosemeyer.
