David S. Morgan, 80 of Sioux City, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at a local hospital. Memorial Services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 8, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church, with an luncheon to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

David Scott Morgan was born November 9, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Kenneth and Doris (Brock) Morgan. David spent most of his life in Sioux City and had a wonderful career doing just what he loved, teaching music. He was an active member of the music community in choir and quartets, restoring and playing organs and passionately pursing a life filled with music. David also was an avid collector of both Westmorland glassware and amazing friends and has amassed quite a collection of both throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by his sister Judy Heath of Geneseo, IL, niece Deb Christian of Redmond, Wa., nephew Mike Heath of Davenport IA., and many, many dear friends.

David is preceded in death by his parents.
