David H. Lang, 61, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City with Pastor Wally Greene officiating. A visitation will be held 4-8 with family present from 6-8 and a prayer service at 7:00 pm, Friday, February 10, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.

David was born on May 17, 1955 in Sioux City, to Howard and Delores (Aguirre) Lang. He attended Central High School in Sioux City and later attended WIT, taking classes in business management.

David married Elizabeth Crowe and to this union, two daughters were born, Jamie and Marcia. David and Elizabeth later divorced. He married Marie Saul and they had one son, lil' David, they later divorced. David married Angela Henry and together they had two sons, Jonathan and Damian. Angela and David later divorced. David married Pamela Walker in 2011.

David has worked at the city of Sioux City in the utility department for eight years, he was a member of the AFSCME union. David was always working, from the moment he work up, to the minute he went to sleep. If he was not at his city job, he was hauling things or scrapping metal. David would do anything to help others. He loved spending time with family or friends, especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela; children, Marcia Carter of Sioux City, Jamie Lang of Sioux Falls, David (Marvel Cloud) Lang of Wisconsin, Jonathan (Selena) Lang of Sioux City, Damian Lang of Sioux City and Stella; Pamela's daughter, Amanda Welch of Sioux City; grandchildren, Donovan, Isaiah, Sophia, Joyanna, Derdrick, Monica, Marvellina, Isaiah, Jayden, Luke, Seth, and Izabel; and David's brothers, Ronnie Aguirre of Washington, Michael Lang of Iowa, Joseph (Anna) Lang of Mexico, and Bruce Lang of Oklahoma.

David was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Pamela Brown and Patricia Meadows.
