David Palacios, Jr., 23 of Sioux City, died Monday, June 19, 2017 at a local hospital.

Services will be held 1 pm Friday, June 23rd at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the funeral home with the family present and a Prayer Service will be held at 7 pm.

David Palacios was born on September 26, 1993 in Sioux City, the son of David and Michelle (Doty) Palacios, Sr. David graduated in 2011 from North High School. He then attended Briar Cliff University and Western Iowa Tech. He was in the physical therapist program.

David worked at several businesses in Sioux City, at Menards driving fork lift and most recently as a driver with King Sea. He was a hard worker who enjoyed spending his spare time with his family and going to sporting events.

He is survived by his parents, David and Michelle Doty-Palacios, his brother Andrew Palacios, his paternal grandmother, Maria Palacios, all of Sioux City, a cousin, Antonio Palacios of North Sioux City, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Angel Palacios and maternal grandparents Billy and Doris Doty.
