David J. Boisen

David J. Boisen, 71 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Monday, September 28, 2006 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the United States Army and American Legion Post 662.

David John Boisen was born on November 23, 1954 in Sioux City, the son of Lowell and Mary (Hildebrand) Boisen. He attended Sioux City schools before enlisting in the United States Army. Upon returning to Sioux City, David worked at John Morrell and Co. and later with Missouri Valley Steel until his retirement.

David enjoyed hitting the road on his motorcycle for rides. He would also go to the gym 4 times a week and kept busy taking care of his house.

David is survived by his wife Jeanie, daughter Tracie (Brenden Trotter) Boisen, son Wesley Boisen, grandchildren Christopher, Brenden, Braden, Zoey, Stevie, Blake and Nexlee, his brothers Doug (Allison) Boisen and Donnie (Vickie) Boisen and his sister, Diane (Dale Gengler) Boisen.
