Gary David Phillips, 68, of Sioux City, IA, passed away February 4, 2024 in the comfort of his home with his daughters by his side.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Dave was born on February 18, 1955 in Vancouver, WA to Authur and Vernelle (Abrahamson) Phillips.  He moved to the Midwest in 1967.  In 1977 he was united in marriage to Audrey Van Brocklin.  To this union they had two daughters.  Dave worked for Wilson Trailer and Sabre Communications.  Dave later moved back to the West Coast before returning to Iowa a few years ago.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters: Tami (Mark) Muirhead, Marion, IA, Shelley (Kyle) Behr, Lexington, SC; grandchildren: Kameron Behr, Ella Muirhead, and Kaylie Behr; siblings: Jeanine Moen, Seaview, WA, Jack Phillips, Rainier, OR, Georgia (Jerome) Blum, Sioux City, IA, Kathy Horn, La Center, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
