Darlene J. Kilberg, 91 of Sioux City, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Graveside services will be held 11 am Monday, August 9 th at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Darlene was born on August 13, 1929 in Sioux City, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Rohmiller) Terrell. She graduated from Central High School in 1948. On November 6, 1949 Darlene was united in marriage to Raymond “Bud” Kilberg. She was a bookkeeper at the Woolworth Plaza for a number of years and later for the Refrigeration Engineering, Inc in Sioux City. Darlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and sewing over the years.
Darlene is survived by her daughters, Karolyn (Bob) Plunkett and Kathy (Ron) Young, all of Sioux City, her grandchildren, Rick Plunkett, John Paul Plunkett and Wayne Young, her great-grandchildren, Anthony (Heather Burdorf) Plunkett, Dallas Plunkett, Chandra Plunkett, Josh Plunkett, Isiah Mack, Damien Plunkett, brother-in-law, Jerry Kilberg, sister-in-laws, Sandy Kilberg, Marilyn Kilberg, Cheryl Kilberg, and Joan Patrick, many nieces and nephews, and several other great-great grandchildren, plus a new addition, Asher Davis to the family born before Darlene’s passing on Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Edward Terrell, Jr, husband, Raymond “Bud” Kilberg, grandson, Greg Young, and great-great grandchildren Alexander Plunkett and Ender Davis.
