Darin Matthew Berge was born on December 1, 1985, the son of Steven and Linda Berge, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was greeted into this world by his brother Tony and sister Amanda. He was such a joy as a child and as an adult. Darin passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Darin loved all kinds of music and was an avid Kiss, Pantera, and Arcade Fire fan. He went to many concerts over the years. Darin was also a talented, self taught drummer. He was a movie fanatic and was especially fond of horror films, such as Halloween, A Nightmare On Elm Street, and Friday the 13 ^th . He enjoyed television shows like The Walking Dead and Modern Family which he always found time to watch with his mother Linda.

He was currently working at El Fredo’s Pizza. He worked for Carmike Cinemas for several years before working at Bob Roe’s Point After for over a decade.

Darin was a wonderful uncle to Alexis, Xander, Payton, Phoenix, Julian, Drake, and Kingston. He loved the Fourth of July when he could light fireworks with all the kids.

He is survived by his mother Linda, brother Tony and his wife Kari, sister Amanda and her husband Mike, Randy (father of Xander and Phoenix), nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, several cousins, and many good friends, Travis, David, Nelson, Loren, Mitch, and so many more.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Berge, who passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
