Daniel W. Wikstrom, 68, of Sioux City died May 7, 2021 at his home. As per Daniel’s request, there will be no services. Waterbury Funeral Services of Sergeant Bluff is assisting the family with arrangements.

Daniel was born November 8, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Alfred and Jaqueline (Wedge) Wikstrom. He grew up in Sioux City, graduating from East High School in 1971. Daniel married Sandra Spaulding in 1975. They later divorced.

Over the years, Daniel was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Missouri Valley Machinery which later became Ziegler. He enjoyed repairing small engines, going to auctions and having morning coffee with the boys.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Wikstrom of Sioux City and Alison Wikstrom of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Jade, Jordan and Daniel II; seven siblings, Kenneth (Linda) Wikstrom, Bill Wikstrom, Jim (Twila) Wikstrom, Kelly Wikstrom, Jennifer Rojas, Kathryn Wikstrom and Clayton Jon Wikstrom.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Amy Wikstrom Karstens.
