Coressa "Tiny" Rochelle Bowman, 34, of Sioux City, IA, passed away August 6, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation from 10-11 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Coressa was born on June 28, 1991, in San Diego, California to Rick and Jackie (Bowman) Bailey. Coressa grew up on her grandparents' citrus farm in Borrego Springs, California. As a child she loved playing in the citrus grove with her aunt and uncles and swimming all day. She also enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball. Coressa moved to Sioux City, Iowa her senior year where she graduated high school and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. After graduating from bootcamp, Coressa returned to Sioux City and worked for various establishments, forming many friendships along the way.
Above all Coressa loved her children, and being a mother to Mattie, Cashius, and Sage. She enjoyed taking them on bike rides, cooking, and being surrounded in nature. She was also a big animal lover since the time she was a little girl. Coressa will be deeply missed by many, and she will be remembered for the love and laughter she would bring to those around her.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Mattie, Cashius, and Sage; her parents, Rick Bailey and Jackie (Dennis) Stranathan; grandparents: Gary and Darlis Bailey; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her boyfriend, Jason Cason.
