Constance Lyle "Connie" Saunders, 66, of Sioux City, passed away April 11, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones, following a 13 year battle with cancer.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Morningside Assembly of God Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Connie was born on September 30, 1951 in Sioux City, the daughter of Edgar and Patricia (Scully) Foreman. She graduated from Central High School.

Connie was a master gardener and belonged to the Master Gardener's Club. She was an avid New York Yankees and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. She loved traveling and would go as often as she could. Connie has taken trips to Hawaii, Florida, New York, Boston, Colorado, Alaska, and Duluth, just to name a few. The most important part of Connie's life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She instilled her love of photography and scrapbooking to her oldest granddaughter, Taiylor; and passed her green thumb and love of gardening to granddaugther, Addicyn.

Survivors include her daughter, Erica Saunders Sailer and her husband Aaron Sailer and their children Taiylor and Addicyn; son, Michael Saunders and his wife Keri; brother, Tim Foreman and his wife Mary; sister, Joan Foreman; nephews, Daniel and Patrick Foreman; and niece, Elizabeth Foreman.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael Foreman.
