Connie M. Murray, 68 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Texas. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, November 20, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm with a vigil at 7pm and the family present from 5-7pm at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Connie Mae Murray was born September 23, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Beebe) Cook. Connie graduated Riverside High School in 1971. On March 25, 1972 Connie married Gerald Murray at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked at  Emerson and Roosevelt Schools as a Teacher Assistant and a Librarian at Lincoln School. In 2020 Connie retired from Perry Creek School.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and attending her grandchildren’s activities. And she loved to shop!!  Connie taught CCD for many years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Connie is survived by her husband, Gerald, son, Matthew Murrary, daughter, Mindy (Jason) Mahnke, two brothers, Dick Cook, Bill (Deanna) Cook, sister, Colleen (Gary) Mason, three grandchildren, Katie, Kelsie, and Emily.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
