Cody James Salberg, 30, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. A private burial will be held later in the spring.

Cody was born June 3, 1991 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Eric and Suzanne (Brown) Salberg. Cody graduated from West High School with Honors. He worked various jobs around the area. Cody had a soft heart and was open and friendly to everyone.

He was a very talented artist, he really enjoys drawing, and enjoyed all kinds of music, but his favorite was Rap music. Cody loved spending time with his kids and family.

Cody is survived by his three children, Bentlee, Kylee and Weslee and their mother Alexis Rose; parents, Eric and Suzanne Salberg of Sioux City; sister, Cassie (Tyler) Bartolozzi, brother, Cameron Salberg both of Sioux City; maternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Brown of Omaha, NE; special friend, Amanda Heyl, and his best friend Eric Reynolds; aunts, uncles, nieces, many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Salberg.

A memorial fund is set up with Siouxland Federal Credit Union to help with the cost of funeral and burial services.
