Clayton L. Briese, 94 passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Viewing will be held from 9:00am until 10:30am Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Waterbury Funeral Home in Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street. Followed by a gravesite service at 12:00pm at the Holstein Cemetery with military honors.

Clayton was born on November 7, 1928, in Correctionville, Iowa to Fred and Minnie.

Clayton served in the Army and farmed.  He was an avid walker and enjoyed watching sports.

He is survived by one brother, Robert (Sally) Briese and 16 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Marion, Arnold, Fred Jr., Dean, one niece and one nephew.
