Christopher A. "Chris" Torrez, 64 of Sioux City, died Sunday, June 2, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at St. Paul's Indian Mission. Burial will be in Hobu Creek Cemetery, Lindy, Nebraska. A wake is being held until service time Wednesday at the church.

Christopher Allen Torrez, 64 of Sioux City was born on November 13, 1959 in Winnebago, Nebraska the son of Kenneth White and Joan Anne Torrez. He attended Webster Elementary and West Middle School in Sioux City. Chris enrolled at Western Iowa Tech Community College and specialized in body repair and auto mechanics.

On August 17, 1988 Chris was united in marriage to Staci LaBelle. Over the years Chris worked in construction as a roofer and also in the body repair and auto mechanic fields. Chris was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Chris is survived by his wife Staci LeMaster-Torrez, sons Aaron Torrez and Ethan Torrez, daughters Jasmine Torrez, Jade Torrez and Victoria LeMaster, grandchildren, Presley "Bean" Warner, Scarlett Lilly Torrez, Penelope Bella  Holloway, Ivy Odessa  Holloway, Lund Saige Holloway, Jaden Torrez, Zoey White Bearer, Raven Torrez, Tia Marie Torrez, Alden Torrez, Christopher Torrez, Zayden Torrez and Bryson Warner, his brother, Milton LaBelle, Jr., and his sisters Lisa Labelle-Stout, Dawn Stout and Lisa Morey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandfather George Torrez, grandmother, Lillian Torrez, a brother Stanley "Skeeter" Torrez and a granddaughter, Serenity Torrez.
