Christopher Lee Jeffords, 37, of North Sioux City, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at a Sioux City hospital, due to complications of a birth born disorder, hemochromatosis, an excess of iron in his body. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will being at 4:00 with family present at 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

Chris was born on May 10, 1981 in Sioux City to Terry Jeffords and Lorrie (Treglia) Jeffords. He grew up in North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes, South Dakota and attended Dakota Valley High School. Chris worked with his dad, detailing semi trucks.

Chris was a collector of many things, some of which were comic books and animation collectibles. He enjoyed playing video games and playing the guitar. Chris loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Jase. Chris and Jase were very close, often playing video games together and exchanging animation collectibles.

Survivors include his mother, Lorrie (Mark Pauley) Jeffords of Richland, SD; father, Terry Jeffords of North Sioux City, SD; sister, Tanya Jeffords of Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Richie (Jill) Jeffords of Sioux City; nieces and nephews, Elyzibeth, Jase, Dominic, Logan, Alessandra, Ashlynn, and Devin; and great niece, Monroe.
