Chester L Mace 73, of Sioux City IA, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence.

Services will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday, Aug 4, at Waterbury Funeral Service, 4125 Orleans Ave, with Rev. Jesse Hailey, of Elk Point Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8, with family present from 6 to 8.

Chet was born Oct 19, 1941 in South Sioux, son of Chester T. and Iona Mace. He Lived in South Sioux and Sioux City most of his life and was a truck driver. He Loved fishing, playing cards, and was an animal lover.

Survivors include wife Betty Gugat Mace; Children: Brian (Cindy) Crippen, Chet Vanderlinden, Jean Mace, Deborah Moreno, Jeff Gugat, Thomas (Lori) Mace, Jerry (Dana) Gugat, Jim Butts, Jenny (Dave) Foster, Jackie (John) Butts, Daniel (Jen) Mace, and Kimberly Mace; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, brother, sister, and 2 grandchildren.
