While Cheryle's greatest love was her family, she also loved Diana Ross and the Supremes, line dancing, Yahtzee, and the movie Sister Act. Cheryle was a member of the Garland Texas Elks Lodge, where she supported many charitable organizations. Cheryle had many close friends at the Elks lodge and two special "Sista's" Freddie and Nancy.

Cheryle is survived by her mother, JoAnn Gomez, her siblings, Carol, Terri and Steve Gomez and their families; her daughter Tracy Dahlman and her husband Rod, and children Brenden and Nicole; and her daughter Heather Fulce and her husband Broderick and son Eric.
