Cheryl L. Kollbaum, 59, of Hinton, IA, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. A visitation will one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.



Cheryl was born on July 29, 1956, in Sioux City, the daughter of James and Joan (Manderscheid) Studley. In 1974, Cheryl graduated from Central High in Sioux City. Cheryl started dating Dwight Kollbaum in the early 1990’s and they united in marriage in June of 2009.



Cheryl was a hairdresser, floral designer, and worked a retail management position in the Siouxland area. She loved cooking for her family, especially around the holidays, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was very creative and enjoyed decorating and remodeling her home. In 2007, Cheryl and Dwight bought a farmhouse.



Survivors include her husband Dwight, children: Matthew (Renae) Nesbit of Sioux City, Michaela Nesbit of LeMars, IA, step-children: Danielle Kollbaum of Sioux City, Jared Kollbaum of Sioux City, and Brandon Kollbaum of Burnsville, MN, grandchildren: Ian, Mariah, Jase, Quentin, Michael, Eli, Liam, Mason, Ava, Damien, Auden, and one baby girl on the way, brothers: Bill (Crystal) Studley of Texas, Joe (Susan) Studley of Texas, Jim Studley of Sioux City, and Don (Linda) Studley of Minnesota, sister: Patricia Hollenbeck of Florida, life-long friend: Betti Morrow, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.



Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Debbie, niece DeAnna, and special friend Marilyn.
