Chelsey “Rozayi” Bass, 28, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away September 8, 2024, in Sioux Falls, SD.  A funeral service will be held Friday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life in Christ Church.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery.

Chelsey was born on September 7, 1996, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Robert and Irma (Williams) Bass. Chelsey was a devoted mother who loved her little girls and was very family oriented. She worked as a resource manager at the Ramada Inn in Sioux Falls for several years. She enjoyed dancing and singing. Chelsey is gone but never forgotten.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Robert and Irma Bass; daughters: Jonia Brown and Myrah Bolden; grandparents: Diane Hebron, Martha Powell, and Robert Bass Sr.; sisters: LaSondra Williams, Lakelsha Coleman, Kristie Hemphill, Courtney McCloud, Shantell Bass, Catrella Bass, Tiffany Bass; brothers: Eddie Williams, Robert McCloud, Robert Bass, Kevin Bass, Shawnderrick Bass, Robbie Bass, Joshua Hale, Walter Stewart, Shawn Bass, and Robert Side; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Charles Hebron, 2 uncles, and 1 aunt.

We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
