Charles A Wilcox, 68, of Westfield Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away at home on January 3, 2016. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. with Pati Kreisel. Military honors and lunch to follow the service. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the funeral home.
Charles WIlcox was born on September 16, 1947 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Lester and Maxine Wilcox. He attended Central High School. Chuck served our country in the Navy for 4 years in Vietnam as a Boiler man on the USS England DLG/CG-22. He married his soul mate Nancy (Mize) Wilcox on August 19, 2000. Together they have 5 children. Tammy Jones, Omaha NE, Tina Stoneking husband Jerry, Phoenix AZ, Sheila Gillium Laurel, MD, Jesse Rains wife Misty, Sioux City, IA, and Jacob Rains significant other Mandy Suing, Sioux City Iowa. He worked at Sioux Tools. Chuck loved old trucks, motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He moved to his dream home acreage in Westfield, IA where he loved spending time with his family, pets and nature.
Survived by his wife Nancy, their 5 children, and 9 grandchildren: Abi, Savannah, Jordan, Sebastian, James, Lucas, Katelyn, Ralyn and Charley. As well as many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parent and bulldog Booger.
