Obituary
Charles E. Preston, 86 of South Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at a hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Memorial Services will be held 11 am Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Charles Edwin Preston was born on July 21, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Mary (Hadley) Preston. He graduated from Central High School. Charles was united in marriage to Louise Epperson on June 13, 1959.
Charles worked at the Armour and company from 1953 until retiring in 1979. He enjoyed reading and liked to do carpentry and welding.
Charles is survived by his wife Louise of South Sioux City; 3 sons, Rodney Preston of Imperial Beach, California, David Preston and Paul Preston, both of Sioux City; 1 daughter, Lora Lee; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Lydia and one sister, Judy.
