Charles P. Dakanno, 47 of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Celebration of life will be held from 12:00pm until 6:00pm Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Charles was born February 5, 1975, in Kolonia Phhnpei the son of Peter and Erihne (David) Dakanno. He graduated High School, and continued his education, receiving a bachelor’s degree.

Charles was the first-born son, when he was a baby, he had to have an emergency open heart surgery in Hawaii. Charles was always a fighter; he never gave up. He was a survivor though life, which made him have a good life.

Charles is survived by his son, Abraham Jerome Dakanno, four sisters, Erwihne, Patricia, Dyahn, Lillyonne,  and a younger brother, Dave Dakanno, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Charles had a large family from both side of his parents. We all going to miss him dearly.
