Cathy (White) Divis, age 59, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 21, 2014 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service at the Community Room at 3640 Indian Hills Drive in Sioux City. Cathy was born in Sioux City on November 21, 1954, the daughter of Michael L and Catherine E (Stewart) White. She attended Sacred Heart and Sioux City schools, graduating from Riverside High School in 1972.

Cathy worked for many years at Interbake Foods until retiring due to health concerns in 2010. She loved talking and sharing stories with her friends at her residence in the community room. Her love was the time she could spend with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandsons.

She is survived by her daughter Tracy Divis, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, three brothers: Douglas White and his wife Sheryl of Broomfield, Colorado, Patrick White of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Charles White of Sioux City, three sisters, Mary Lou Buddi of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Linda Knight of Sioux City and Betty Morley of Sioux City. Cathy is also survived by her grandchildren: Erica, Latisha, and Ashley, and her two great-grandsons: Raymund, and Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
