Cathy Sue Berg, 76, of North Sioux City, SD, passed away November 22, 2023 at a local care center.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 26 at 4:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Cathy was born on November 14, 1947 in Janesville, WI to Edward Steibel and Lois Peasley.

Cathy was a good friend of Bill and Lois W. and was very giving and enjoyed helping others through difficult times of their life. On February 7, 1987, she married Donald Berg.  Cathy enjoyed any type of crafting, especially needlepoint.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Pamela (Pierre) Doyon; grandchildren Rachel Castaneda and Corey Aguirre; great grandchildren Kelsey Doyon, Khloe Castaneda, David Castaneda and Abraham Castaneda; her brother, Cal Steibel; her nieces Jennifer, Laura and Rose and her nephew, Justin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Joy.
