Catherine A. Rasmussen, 88 of McCook Lake, South Dakota passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Catherine Alena Rasmussen was born on May 1, 1932 in Sioux City, the daughter of Fred and Mabel Eastman. She graduated from Central High School and was married in September of 1949 to Lawrence Rasmussen.

She was a homemaker and her life work was raising her family. She loved to bake for the family and play cards when her brothers and sisters visited.

Catherine is survived by her sons, Larry Rasmussen of McCook Lake and Ron and his wife Chris of McCook Lake, her daughter, Mary and her husband Kurt Grabow of Billings, Montana, 6 grandchildren, Richard, Katie, Tanner, Sammijo, Cory and Jessica and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
