Carolyn Lee Schultz, age 69, of Sioux City passed away Friday March 29, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Morningside Assembly of God in Sioux City with interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm with the family present 5-7pm at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Carolyn was born on April 18, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry William and Donna Marie (Clark) Krohn. She attended Sioux City Community Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1961.
Carolyn worked for many years as a counselor for the Iowa Department of Human Services until her retirement.
She taught herself to play the piano and enjoyed playing for herself and others. She was especially fond of her pet cats. She attended Morningside Assembly of God.
She is survived by her three sons: Jeffrey Schultz and his wife Laura of Colorado, Clifford Schultz and his wife Jeri of Sioux City, and Jon Schultz and his wife Jacque of Lancaster, California, her mother Donna of Sioux City, a brother David Krohn and his wife Shelly of Sioux City, her seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry.
