Carolyn A. Bocian, 67, of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Regency Square Care Center. Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, November 30, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Onawa City Cemetery.

Carolyn was born on March 22, 1948 in Blencoe, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Adeline (Stanislav) Heinse. She grew up in Sioux City. Carolyn married Ronald Bocian on July 16, 1966 in Moville, Iowa. Carolyn worked for King Koin Laundromat for 25 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage; she also enjoyed going bowling, fishing, and camping.

Survivors include her husband Ronald, children: Chandra (Pat) Julch of Sioux City and Gerald Bocian of Iowa, brother Larry (Linda) Heinse of Sioux City, sisters Janet (David) Piercy of Kansas and Mary (Pat) Salmen of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, grandchildren: Elyssa and Zackary Julch of Sioux City.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a niece Stacy Heinse.
