Carol L. Williams, 53 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at her residence.
Memorial service will be held 1-4pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Elks Club in Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.
Carol was born on September 2, 1963 in Sioux City, the daughter of Kenneth and Sally (Voudry) Jensen. She graduated in 1982 from the Alcester High School in Alcester, South Dakota.
On January 29, 1990, Carol was united in marriage to Dean Williams in Elk Point, South Dakota. Carol worked as a nurse’s aide for several years and later as a clerk at a area Kum & Go Store. For the past 10 years she has been on disability retirement. She was always a caretaker, willing to help those in need.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and being with her family. Her grandchildren nicknamed her “NeNe”.
Carol is survived by her husband Dean, her daughter Katilyn Williams and son Chris Williams; 5 grandchildren, Riley, Kylie, Mylee, Krissy and Andrew; her sister Tressa Fischer, all of Sioux City; and two brothers, Bob McKnight of Sioux City and Terry Jensen of Meridian, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jackie Schmaltz and a brother, Don DeYoung.
