Carol S. Lensink, 70 of Sioux City died Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at her residence.

Private family burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Carol was born on February 17, 1955 in Sioux City, the daughter of Earle and Betty (Johnson) Puttmann. She graduated from the Kingsley Pierson High School in 1973 and later from Iowa Western Tech Community College. On August 16, 1978 she was united in marriage to Leonard Lensink, Jr.

Carol was a secretary at KWSL, Gateway Realty, United Real Estate and most recently, CNOS. Her main joys in life were her family and her flower garden.

Carol is survived by her husband, Leonard, sons Ryan (Jenny Chinn) Lensink and Cody Lensink, her grandchildren Jarrod, Jacob and Braelynn, and her brothers, Doug (Sandy) Puttmann, Steve (Diane) Puttmann, Jeff (Patty) Puttmann, Greg (Linda) Puttmann and Rich (JoEllen) Puttmann, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
