Carol Mae Lee age 54, of Sioux City died Saturday January 21, 2012 at a local hospital.
Services will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 11:00am from Trimble United Methodist Church in Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
Carol was born on August18, 1957 in Sioux City the daughter of Wilma L. (Thorngren) Brewer and the late Virgil Rausch, Sr. She grew up in the Sioux City and Council Bluffs, Iowa areas and attended school in both cities. Carol married Steve Witzke of Council Bluffs and started her family. Years later, she married Robert Lee of Council Bluffs and eventually moved back to Sioux City and lived the rest of her life.

Carol loved life. She cherished her children and grandchildren. She loved to do puzzles, games, sewing, weaving, and collecting trinkets. She also loved cooking and baking, being outdoors, tanning when she could, and spending time with family and friends. Carol was a huge part of our lives.

Survivors include her mother Wilma Brewer, two sons: Casey Witzke and his wife Anita, Mark Kuhfes, Jr. and his fiancé Gabby, four daughters: Amy Barbee and her husband Brandon of South Sioux City, Melissa Witzke, Heather Lee and her fiancé Donnie, and Tiffany Lee, three brothers: Virgil Rausch, Jr., Donald Wold, and Michael Rausch, five sisters: Annette Mast and her husband Thomas, Tamara Gray and her husband Randall of New Hampshire, Suzanne Ewers and her husband Bobby, Rebecca Brewer and her fiancé Alfredo, and Jennifer Martinez and her husband Eduardo all of Sioux City, nine grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, and two daughters Jessica and Latisha.
