Obituary
Carla J. Morey, 64, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 18, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.
Carla was born on March 5, 1951 in Sioux City, the daughter of Carl Saltsgiver and Colleen Fontenot. Carla married Gerald Morey on November 23, 1968 in Sioux City. Gerald passed away on February 12, 2005.
Survivors include her children: Ricky (Debra) Morey of Sioux City, Teresa Palomino of Sloan, and Christina (Fermin) Torres of Sioux Center, brother Dennis (Linda) Fontenot of Sioux City, sisters Marlene (Richard) Jackson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Donna Morton of Sioux City, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson, Ryan Reed.
