Carla Brown Curtis, 66, passed away quietly at her home on Thursday, June 21, 2024 following a long illness. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Carla was born June 17, 1958 in Sioux City, Iowa to Richard and Juliana (Walsh) Brown. Carla graduated from West High School in 1976.  She worked at Jim’s I29 for many years as a bartender.

Carla is survived by her children Carley and Eric Curtis; her grandchildren Riley Anderson, Tayler Anderson, Natalie Curtis, and Wesley Curtis; her sister Cathy (Dave) Watterson; and her lifelong friends Kim and Peggy.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents and her fur baby, her dog Jackson.
